The questions we get asked most.
Consider the paint type, surface, and desired finish. Natural bristles work well with oil-based paints, while synthetic are best for latex. We'll guide you to the best choice for your specific needs.
Nap size refers to the thickness of the roller cover's fibres. Shorter naps (3/8" or less) are for smooth surfaces, while longer naps (1/2" to 3/4") are for semi-rough to rough surfaces like stucco or textured walls.
Yes, good painter's tape is designed for clean, sharp lines and easy, residue-free removal. Regular masking tape often leaves sticky residue or allows paint to bleed underneath, ruining your edges.
Beyond paint, always have good quality painter's tape, drop cloths, a stir stick, a paint can opener, and a cleaning cloth. Depending on the project, you might also need a scraper or sandpaper.
